The Identity Manifesto

The only difference between you and the superheroes we see in movies is that they are fictional and scripted, while you are real and have to live through real-life experiences.

However, the powerful superheroes we have come to love were created by scriptwriters. The scriptwriter creates a superhero character and gives it identity, purpose, mission, strengths, weaknesses, passions, and values.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐰𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞? What kind of superhero are you? What are your unique abilities, core values, and passions? How are you saving the world from impending danger?

This scriptwriting process is similar to crafting your Identity Manifesto.

As I shared yesterday, an Identity Manifesto is a written statement that expresses your beliefs about yourself, your values, mindsets, goals, passions, and purpose.

It is your superhero script and a personal constitution that defines who you are, what you stand for, and how you want to live your life.
