Aye! Mister Colin Bridgerton. Preach!
I didnโt expect to be getting quotable quotes on authenticity from the Bridgerton series.
But truly, life is too short to live for the approval of others.
The same people who praised Jesus for His miraculous acts were also the set of people who shouted, โCrucify Himโ!
We cannot afford to live for the praise and approval of people.
Also, the world loves authentic people only that it sells us the story of conformity.
However, the moment we break free, we realise that those societal norms or expectations that we tried to meet/fit into were merely fragile constructs waiting for courageous people to step up and walk free.
I hope many more people find the courage to step up and embrace their true selves.
I am really looking forward to binge-watching Season 3 of Bridgerton this weekend!
