This verse is a reminder that faith without works is dead.

While we are waiting and praying to God concerning our heart desires, we cannot remain passive.

You must locate what instruction God is giving you about that issue and do it.

Concerning instructions, we are not waiting for an audible voice to shout instructions into our ears.

We get instructions by reading the bible or books specific to the issue, listening to messages, interacting with mentors or coaches, or sometimes through common sense.

For example, if youโ€™re looking for a job, praying to God for favour is one thing, but it doesnโ€™t stop there. You have to send in applications, network and start searching actively.

I pray that God will grant you grace to DO. And as you take action, may doors of opportunity open up to you in Jesus name.
