If we all looked the same, had the same gifts and talents, spoke the same language, thought the same way, and had the same hobbies, you'd agree with me that life would be so boring and devoid of purpose!
𝐓𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰👇
Life is like a puzzle set and we are each a puzzle piece. Each puzzle piece is usually an irregularly shaped piece, with varied sizes and colours that can be connected with other pieces to form a complete picture.
If we all looked the same, had the same gifts and talents, spoke the same language, thought the same way, and had the same hobbies, you'd agree with me that life would be so boring and devoid of purpose!
The reason you and I have come to this world with unique characteristics is so that we can contribute to the grand design. Trying to reconstruct your original design to conform to societal norms, downplaying your strengths for fear of what people would say and blending in so that you are not considered an outsider, is doing the world and yourself a great disservice.
For those who strength-shame, belittle and suppress others, I believe they lack the fundamental understanding that 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐖𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐄 𝐢𝐟 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐄. The chaos, hate and anarchy around the world are partly driven by a lack of mutual acceptance and appreciation of each other's uniqueness.
The world needs the richness of our individuality, our authentic souls, our genius minds, our unique voices, and our unconventional ideas.
